There are two primary types of lofts in the Dallas area: historic lofts (also known as hard lofts) and new construction lofts (known also as soft lofts).

Soft lofts are usually more expensive by virtue of being located in trendier, higher rent districts in the Dallas area. One can expect to pay over $1000 per month for soft lofts in Dallas.

The most popular soft lofts in Dallas include Mockingbird Station, Mondrian at City Place, Broadstone Seville. These lofts are located in the popular area of Uptown and allow residents easy access to shopping and dining.
The top hard lofts in the city include Adam Hats Lofts, Southside on Lamar, and Futura lofts. Futura lofts and Adam Hats are both located in Deep Ellum, an area known for its artistic and eclectic atmosphere. Southside is located just south of Downtown Dallas and offers residents affordable and spacious options.
